What voice are you listening to?
The presence of external voices in life began when we did. They hold the power of life and death in the words they speak and they come from trusted and mistrusted places. For too long mistrusted voices have informed (often quite loudly) what it means to be a powerful woman, or they neglected the conversation altogether. They applied pressures and expectations that changed as quickly as walking from one room to another; making it impossible to achieve this “powerful” existence. It’s confusing and overwhelming.
If the external voices were not enough to overwhelm and confuse, then the internal voice made up the difference. The dreaded inner critic is painful and can be the hardest to overcome with its relentless grip of comparison threatening to silence our voice and diminish our presence. It drones on with questions that reek of self-doubt and lies; “Is there enough space for your authority?”, “Who are you to be here?”, “Do you even have anything of value to contribute?”.
Yet, we are resilient.
Marching to the sounds of freedom from oppressive voices that marginalize our talent, we press in. We are a community of perfectly imperfect women on our own journey of discovery and wholeness. We are daughters, sisters, mommas, and aunties choosing to raise up generations of powerful women. We are creatives learning and growing in our individual craft and gifting. Most importantly, we are doing it together.
We are daring to dream brave, to believe for big things.
We are daring to live bravely, to be women of action.
We are daring to influence bravery in others, because if I can do it then you can too.
We are Braverly
Together, we have been Braverly since 2016. We run a cafe and sewing center in Mae Sot, Thailand under the covering of Outpour Family Foundation (a registered Thai foundation).
It’s not just the perfect cup of coffee or a stunning handcrafted bag, it’s the story of a community of women daring to show up in our own skin and not let all of the voices, fear and lies control who we are or what we do.
Mission
Braverly exists to see a community of women empowered, trained, and equipped with the tools to provide for their families, walk in confidence and truth, and impact nations.
Meaning Behind the Logo
More than just the letter “B” for Braverly, our logo is the number 3 and 1 put together. This is representative of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and the role we believe the Lord plays in our lives. We also believe that we are made up of mind, body and soul. We desire to see women walk in wholeness–knowing who they are, whose they are, and because of these things, understand what that means they are capable of!
There is room for you, will you be Braverly with us?
“I am too quiet, too timid. I can’t speak well. I don’t have the education. Nobody would actually follow me. I don’t know how to do this. How do you run a business, let alone an international business? This isn’t what missions usually looks like. I could fail. I could fail them.
I am so glad I didn’t listen to those lies and fears.”
